Ms. Amy S. Fernandez was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic and raised in Washington Heights, NY. Ms. Fernandez earned  her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, in New York, NY.   In 2018, Ms. Fernandez began working for the Department of Education as a Procurement and Program Analyst where she quickly realized that a gap existed between the services approved to help NYC students thrive in our current labor market.  After this experience, Ms. Fernandez decided to develop an initiative that combines healthcare prevention practices with community building initiatives. Complete Health Ventures  was founded in 2019, with a focus on exposing and inspiring more minority students to pursue Healthcare careers, that are stable and economically viable options. Ms. Fernandez believes strongly that ALL students deserve mentorship and coaching opportunities well before they arrive to the labor force.
