Dr. Emmanuel Adomfeh is a dedicated physician who has been practicing internal medicine in hospitals in New York City and Philadelphia for the past four years. Ultimately, he aspires to pursue a fellowship in infectious disease and work in global health; however, he is now employed as a hospitalist at Jefferson Health. He earned his MD and MPH degrees from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has extensive experience and has developed a strong clinical acumen treating patients with COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, and Sickle Cell Anemia. Furthermore, Dr. Adomfeh is committed to social justice and community service. He has participated in multiple projects, including anti-gun violence programs in Brooklyn and high school STEM pathway programs. Hes received numerous accolades for his academic and community activities, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Beta Iota Chapter of Delta Omega, National Honor Society of Public Health. The US Public Health Service has also acknowledged him for excellence in public health. Dr. Adomfeh is a staunch advocate for health equity and is determined to ensure that every patient have access to exceptional care.
