PA Hogarth Louis Jr. was born in Port of Prince, Haiti and was raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn, NY. Hogarth graduated from Sheepshead Bay High School in June 1997. He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Physician Assistant from The City College of NY, Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in 2008. He currently works in an emergency department at a level 1 Trauma Center in NYC for the past 16 years. His interest in education led him to become an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor in ACLS, PALS and BLS. He’s also coordinator for Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) at his hospital. PA Hogarth completed his fellowship in Simulation Education in 2022 at Institute of Medical Simulation and Advanced Learning (IMSAL) at Jacobi Hospital. He launched the first ever Simulation Curriculum for Advanced Practice Provider at his current hospital. He’s passionate about advocating for the black and underrepresented, underserved communities. He shares CHVs core beliefs of informing, inspiring and mentoring students in those communities.
